Late Again
My mother had her second stroke in three years earlier this month and I have not been in the state of mind to read or comment on comics. As a result, I have fallen far behind in keeping this site up-to-date, though it is 40 years late already. Hopefully, my mental and emotional faculties will return shortly and I can get back to this. I ask for you patience. Thanks.

Sorry to hear about your mother's medical problems and am sending good thoughts for a speedy recovery.
Every one of your readers knows that family takes precedence over blogging, as all these other comments indicate.
Reading this blog always gives me a lot of pleasure, but that pleasure would be considerably diminished if I thought you weren't enjoying the writing and presentation of it due to these worries. And as anyone who's experienced family illnesses or other woes will tell you, worry is literally a draining illness in itself. Be sure to take extra time for yourself to rest and recuperate from all this stress; we want you back in one piece.
Hang in there amigo. Love your blog and look forward to its return when you can find the time.

Thank you all for your kind words. My mother is getting better, back at home now, but that has opened up a whole new can of issues to deal with. I do hope to be back at this sometime next week and then try and catch up to real time by the end of the month. At least that is the plan today.
