Tomahawk #114 (On Sale: November 7, 1967) features another interesting
Bob Brown cover. Although pretty much unhearalded as a cover artist, Brown was constantly producing some of the most dynamic covers of the time.
The
Tomahawk cover-story
"The Terrible Power of Chief Iron-Hands" is drawn by
Fred Ray.
The back-up
"Traitor of the Totem Pole" is a reprint from
Tomahawk #57 and is drawn by
Bob Brown.

Tomahawk is a weird book to me--realy boring and or bizarre stories, then when Frank Thorne took over it totally kicked ass--from 0 to 60 in 140 issues.
I think the book get redefined when Neal Adams starts doing the covers in a few months. Some of the best work he ever did at DC are Tomahawk covers and I plan on promoting them prominently.
