ADAMS' Inking & Style...<br />This is the 3rd example I have seen so far of SPARLING deviating from his own style, to show either he admired ADAMS & was influenced to do similiar,...or to show that he too could do powerful "photo-realist" looking work, as the then-popular new "Star" kid on the "DC" block"...SPARLING never did anything like this(changing his style) before...<br />This was when ADAMS was practically doing, at least a few covers for each editor, & mostly every cover for BRAVE & BOLD, BATMAN, DETECTIVE, Inking almost every SUPERMAN Family Title Covers,...& some artists may of gotten nervous & jealous, thinking they would lose out on work to a newbie...& to show they can do similiar looking work too...<br />Fact is, SPARLING did stop working for DC shortly thereafter.
