This is when he hired "artists" as Editors:KUBERT/ORLANDO/GIORDANO/SEKOWSKY...
But SEKOWSKY, it seems, was handling much too much. A vet like Editor ROBERT KANIGHER could handle 5-7 titles, & turn out a story for each. I'm sure he just wanted to take advantage of having an opportunity to make more Cash...
He burnt out, yet I love those books. He made a number of attempts to move DC away from super-heroes and into pure action and adventure. This was one of my favorites attempts of his.

I like a guy who can bring the whole package to the table and then find the one thing he can't do (in this case inking) and bring the perfect guy into to fill that void (Giordano).-Kellerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06440487461352327886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5488751866222269657.post-87377803995169595712009-11-11T09:22:21.847-08:002009-11-11T09:22:21.847-08:00Boy, did I love Sekowsky's stint on WW--the se...Boy, did I love Sekowsky's stint on WW--the series became almost too quirky at times, but it was never boring!

And Sekowsky must have loved his Morgana creation, because he used her in his first Supergirl story (in 1970).Sharhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11557062426400835295noreply@blogger.com
