ReplyDeleteThanks. I am getting back into it slowly and will work on filling in the two months I was off.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to thank you for this GREAT blog, and for opening my eyes to all the excellent stuff DC was putting out in the late Silver Age. I was always a hardcore Marvel SA guy, but I think DC’s non-superhero titles around this time are better than Marvel’s. I’m still not a big fan of the mainline DC superheros though -- there's such a high cheese factor to so many of them (especially Superman, who I really dislike). I’m particularly impressed with their Horror and War comics, the Deadman series, and anything by Neal Adams. It seems like Adams almost single-handedly saved DC from artistic oblivion in the late 60’s. Anyway, keep up the great blogging!
